The Burton Wire‘s founder & editor-in-chief Nsenga K. Burton, Ph.D. will be discussing the topic, “Race and the Blogosphere ” at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Thomas W. Cole Jr. Research Center. The event is sponsored by the Department of Mass Media Arts and the Theta Tau Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society.
Dr. Burton will discuss the new media landscape and the precariousness of being black and female in these exclusive spaces.
This event is free and open to the public. Questions will be taken from the audience at the end of the public lecture.
